After Martin was diagnosed with bladder cancer, he had to undergo a tough course of treatment involving both chemotherapy and surgery. Today he lives with a urostomy, but refuses to sacrifice energy, strength and quality of life, and in this regard he’s able to feel the benefits of Vegan Power Meal.
The disease – and emerging on the other side
“In 2019, I was diagnosed with bladder cancer. This resulted in a tough 3½ months of chemotherapy, followed by surgery in which my bladder, prostate and lymph nodes were removed and replaced by a urostomy. In connection with the urostomy, my abdominal muscles were cut open, which thus entailed a period of rehabilitation.
The drugs used in chemotherapy remain in the body for a long time after treatment, the impact of which I’ve really felt in terms of strength, muscles and energy. It’s not until now – around a year later – that I can feel that I’m slowly getting my strength back, that my muscles can cope with more and the feeling of tiredness and fatigue has abated.
Vegan Power Meal has proved to be a really good catalyst in terms of increasing my energy levels – and I can feel that there’s more on the way. I think it’s a great product, as it began to have an effect on my energy within the first week – exactly as your ambassadors describe.
Everyday life
Earlier, when doing the shopping, a lot of unhealthy food tended to end up in my shopping basket – food that I really didn’t need.
For breakfast I now drink Vegan Power Meal – every morning – which keeps me going until lunchtime without any problems. It’s great to know that what I have for breakfast is actually also healthy. It kills two birds with one stone: I consume something that’s both filling and gives me energy that lasts for the rest of the day – in addition to which it’s a brand new type of energy that feels better than before.
Tennis
Tennis is an important part of my identity. I’ve been playing for 35 years, and I’m a member of two boards within the tennis world. Before my operation, I could play every day for a couple of hours – and it’s my clear ambition to be able to do so again, thus enabling me to play and train with younger players once more. I’m not ready to compromise; my competitive instincts are simply too great.
Vegan Power Meal has helped give me a kick up the backside and now everything’s good! It’s absolutely fantastic to experience that feeling of gaining more energy and better muscle power from one week to the next. I now play for 2 hours in the morning – only on a Vegan Power Meal – without being completely shattered, and there’s still a surplus on my “muscle account” after training.
I’ve acquired renewed energy and have regained my desire and belief. Now I need to step up a gear and really hit my form! After New Year, I hope to be able to beat the younger players once more.
An unequivocal recommendation
I actually wish that I’d tried Vegan Power Meal both during my chemotherapy and in connection with my rehabilitation, as the first thing that disappears is your energy.
It’s great to be able to confirm that it works and that, as an ordinary person, I can enjoy the same effect as an elite athlete with a high metabolic rate. The ingredients in Vegan Power Meal are healthy and natural ingredients without any “hocus-pocus”. I’d recommend it to everyone.”
